Issues and Challenges on Venturing into Facebook Commerce

Abstract

The study examines the challenges encountered by small entrepreneurs when venturing into Facebook commerce. Social media has revolutionized not only our daily lives, but also the business world. This study involved 50 small entrepreneurs and adopted mixed method of quantitative and qualitative designs to collect data. The study revealed that lack of IT knowledge and set of cost significantly affected the respondents decision to venture into Facebook commerce. However, many small entrepreneurs are also found to be interested in Facebook commerce.
