Abstract:
In this study, we apply Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) optimization to the problem of relay selection and transmit power allocation to selected relays in non-regenerative Relay Assisted Cognitive Radio Networks (RCRNs). The objective of our proposed scheme is to maximize the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) at the secondary destination while keeping the interference offered to the primary user below a certain threshold level. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
